Canadian Trans Mountain pipeline to be decided soon

By the end of March, Kinder Morgan Canada should decide the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline system. The commercial conditions of operations are now in progress enough to allow the completion of the design and planning of the entire system for an estimated cost around $3.8 billion.

This expansion will increase the capacity of the pipeline from 300 000 b/d to 600 000 b/d along 1150 km from Alberta to British Columbia, Canada.

Dialog with interested stakeholders, local communities and First Nations should move forward soon.
